Sales Executive / Technical Sales Representative (Construction Materials)

Bangkok, Thailand

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive to drive B2B sales growth for our premium product line, ConFibe® Hooked-End Steel Fibres. In this role, you will be responsible for introducing this revolutionary concrete reinforcement solution to ready-mix plants, contractors, real estate developers, and structural engineers in Thailand. You will play a key role in helping clients replace traditional rebar with a more cost-effective, time-saving, and eco-friendly technology.

 

This position is both creative and rigorous by nature you need to think outside the box. We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a "get it done" spirit. To be successful, you will have solid solving problem skills.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities with ready-mix concrete (RMC) companies, flooring contractors, precast concrete plants, and large-scale industrial project developers.
  • Technical Presentation: Present the value proposition of ConFibe® to clients, highlighting its technical advantages, including cost reduction, labor savings, and structural durability.
  • Consultative Selling: Work closely with project engineers and consultants to understand their project requirements and promote ConFibe® as the preferred structural reinforcement alternative.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, main contractors, and key decision-makers across the construction industry.
  • Sales Support & Coordination: Coordinate with the technical support team to provide accurate dosage calculations, project-specific mix designs, and technical documentation to clients.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming infrastructure or industrial projects to strategically position Thanasarn Central Steel's offerings.
  • Achieve Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets as set by the management team.

Must Have

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. (A technical background is a strong plus).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven B2B sales experience within the Thailand construction industry (selling ready-mix concrete, steel rebar, chemical admixtures, or related construction materials).
  • Industry Networks: Existing connections or a solid network with local contractors, developers, ready-mix suppliers, or structural design firms is highly preferred.
  • Skills: * Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to understand technical specifications, engineering datasheets, and basic concrete construction concepts.
    • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and resilient.
  • Language: Good command of spoken and written Thai. Functional English skills for reading technical certificates (CE, EPD, ISO) and communicating product details.
  • Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle, with the flexibility to travel regularly to project sites and client offices.
